Students with an Apaar ID card will receive discounts on air tickets, making travel easier and cheaper. This card will digitally store all their academic records.
If you are a student with an Apaar ID card, this news is extremely important for you. Having an Apaar ID will make your travel easier. Air tickets, which previously burdened families, will now offer significant discounts. In Bihar, this benefit will be available to over 10 million students in the state. However, the central government has announced discounts on air tickets for students with Apaar IDs under the "One Nation, One Student" initiative. This will also benefit students from other states.
The Ministry of Education has launched a new initiative. The ministry is now working to expand the benefits of the Apaar card, ensuring that students can access education and other services. This is a unique ID card that consolidates all of a student's academic information into one place. It contains a digital record of their school and college studies, exam results, enrollment information, and certificates. This means that children will no longer have to worry about losing their marksheets or certificates; everything will be available with just one click.
Which students can obtain an Apaar Card?
All students, whether studying in a government or private institution, can obtain an Apaar Card. This card is easily generated through the Education Department's website or through the school. The school uploads the student's Aadhaar number and academic records, after which the student is issued a unique Apaar ID. With this ID, the student can view and download all their academic records at any time, and use it when enrolling in a college or institution.
