TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2025: Recruitment has come out for more than 1200 posts of Sub-Inspector in Tamil Nadu Police. Which candidates will be able to apply from 7th April.
TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2025: If you want to work in police then this news is important for you. Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) in the State Police Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for this recruitment through the official website tnusrb.tn.gov.in.
A total of 1299 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. The registration process for the recruitment will start from 7th April 2025 and the last date of application has been kept as 3rd May 2025. Candidates who want to make any correction in the application form will be able to do so till 13 May 2025.

TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2025: Required Educational Qualification
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university. This degree should be completed by the date of release of the notification.
TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2025: Age Limit
According to the notification, the age of the candidate should be between minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years as on 1 July 2025.

Main Written Exam
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Interview (Viva-Voce)
Special Marks
The main exam will have two parts - General Knowledge and Logical Analysis, Numerical Analysis, Psychology, Communication Skills and Information Management Ability.
Tamil Language Eligibility Test (100 marks, 100 minutes exam - minimum 40 marks required)

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500 to apply. If a candidate applies for both departmental candidate quotas, then he will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000.
