Woman shares 'best thing' about working at Greggs – and it's not the food

Quick, convenient and tasty - the pastries and cakes always hit the spot when it comes to satisfying a foodie craving. It must tempting to work in the bakery every day, and constantly take in the smell of the buttery bakes.

But, according to one woman, the best part of the job has nothing to do with the . That's because she managed to find over a humble steak bake.

Zahra, known as @zeeluvsdaz on , recently revealed the "best thing" that happened to her when she was working in Greggs was finding her man, Darren. Though she doesn't work at Greggs now, it was the place where their love for each other first blossomed.

In the candid clip, she said she met her partner when he was working as her supervisor, but they weren't allowed to work together when the relationship progressed. Now neither of them work at the eatery, but it was over the bakes and breads that they first locked eyes.

People have been quick to comment since she shared the video, and people loved hearing all about the Greggs-fuelled romance. Some said there must be something about the humble food chain that brings people together.

One person said: "Not us also being a supervisor/team member couple in Greggs." Another replied: "This is how me and my boyfriend met. He got tranferred to a different shop. We both still work in Greggs."

A third also noted: "Literally how I met my husband." Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "I was considering working with my boyfriend. Aw, I love your guys love story."

Zahra made it clear that neither of them work there now, which is why she shared the story, and it's fair to say that many people loved it.

When it comes to Greggs, it appears as though love really is all around, with many workers claiming to have met "the one" while working there.
