Bukayo Saka put in a scintillating display against Southampton to ensure side keep up the pace with both Liverpool and Manchester City.

win over the Saints kept them just a point behind Arne Slot's Reds at the top of the table, with Pep Guardiola's side defeating Fulham, staying level with the Gunners on 17 points. side took the lead through Cameron Archer after 55 minutes, but that only sparked the Gunners into life.

Saka played a major part in all three goals to cap off a memorable display. The England international set up for the equaliser - who continues his impressive statistic of scoring in every home game at the Emirates this season - just three minutes after the Saints had taken the lead.

The Gunners winger then produced a brilliant cross to the far post, leaving with a tap-in at the far post to put Arsenal in front on the 68th minute. Saka then got in on the act himself in the 88th minute, robbing the ball from Yukinari Sugarawa inside his own box and firing a low drive into the bottom corner past Aaron Ramsdale.

TalkSPORT pundit Jason Cundy believes Saka's display against the Saints highlighted why he's the best in the business. He said: “I think Saka on that right-hand side, I don’t think there’s a better crosser of the ball from that ball to the far post. He did exactly the same thing against Chelsea last year, Trossard scored. We drew 2-2 with them.

“It’s impossible to defend if you get a late runner and you stay onside. You arrive at the far post.
