Strictly star JB Gill reveals wife's eyebrow-raising request to show staff ahead of next dance

star has revealed the training sessions for the show has had a positive impact on his body - and his wife loves it so much she made a racy request to show staff.

The JLS singer, who shot to fame in 2008 while on X factor, has been impressing the judges alongside his professional dance partner . And while he has been learning routines week after week for hours at a time, he said he has no developed a six-pack and toned arms.

Speaking to , he said: "The six-pack is incoming! I've definitely lost a lot of weight, and we've not even done half of the up-tempo numbers yet. I think Chloe's loving it, too. The other day she said to me, 'Can you speak to Costume and get your arms out because your arms are looking good!' I'm not used to these compliments flying about."

And when asked if his training regime has spiced things up in the bedroom, he added: "You know, I'm here for it. Now I'll have to listen to my wife and get the guns out — I need to keep her happy as well." The father of two found himself in the bottom two with Paul Merson last week, but he was saved by the judges.

When speaking to Tess following his elimination, Paul said: "It's been really good. For anybody I talk to, I would say you've got to go on this show. It's amazing - everybody. There's a Tottenham fan over there called Lincoln and even he's nice! It's been amazing, honestly, amazing. I loved every minute of it, I've had a great teacher. She's been amazing, absolutely amazing and I couldn't wish for a better coach. I've loved every minute of it."

He added: "I can dance now - I've won because I can dance, I couldn't dance before and I can half dance now. It's a bonus, absolute bonus." His professional partner Karen Hauer added: "Absolutely, you've been a joy. I've never giggled this much. My abs are really tight now. I am so proud of you. Every week you have showed up, you have improved. You're what Strictly is about and I want to thank you for bringing such joy and just showing everyone that it is possible with a little bit of work and lots of giggles."

Away from the cameras JB lives a quiet life on his farm in Seven Oaks, Kent with his wife Chloe and their two kids. Speaking to the BBC, he previously said: "Family is everything to me. Chiara has already made cards and little tokens for me to put in my dressing room for the live shows and then my wife will be there every single week for as long as I’m in it."
