, Ward was speaking to Jones Jr about the upcoming heavyweight dust-up. Previewing the fight, Ward said: "If Jake has nothing else, he's got a right hand. He's got nothing else, but he's got a right hand." To which Jones Jr replied: "That's what I said, if you let him get comfortable, he's going to become dangerous."
The American then told Jones Jr how he was left confident about Tyson's chances ahead of next week's fight. "I told Mike, 'I know you don't need any help, man. You all are like my legends. Guys I came up watching'," he continued. "If Jake goes in there tripping, man, and something happened, I'm going to have to holla at Jake because I ain't going to appreciate that. I said 'it's like when Larry Holmes fought Ali or Trevor Berbick fought Ali', he said 'but the difference between us, they didn't prepare like I prepared brother.'
"I said 'Mike you talking that talk,' he said 'they didn't prepare, they didn't deserve it like I deserved it'. I know he's 58, but after I talked to him, he had me feeling good about the situation." Despite Ward's comments, Jones Jr opted to remain a little more cautious and questioned whether 'Iron Mike' was telling the truth."If he's right and he's telling the truth then it's going to be tough for Jake, but we don't know for a fact that he's telling the truth," he said.

When asked by Ward how it felt being punched by the heavyweight legend, Jones Jr said: "First time he hit me in the chest, it felt like a mule had kicked me in the chest. At 57-years-old, I said 'oh my goodness, ok! You won't hit me no more'."
Recently, Jones Jr shared his official prediction for the fight and believes Tyson will pull off an incredible upset on November 15 and insists he could even finish the social media star. “I believe in Mike, likely via decision,” Jones Jr. said to . “But if he wants to finish it, he can. Yet, if he’s just looking to enjoy the fight, he might take it slow and have some fun… I’m not worried about Mike and his age. Mike is still hard to hit, and he hits like a truck.”
