Simon Gregson has received an outpouring of support from fans and fellow cast members after revealing his struggles on social media. The actor, known for his role as took to on Monday, November 4 to share his weekend woes.

He had been participating in the Sotheby's London to Brighton veteran car run but encountered a hiccup when his vintage vehicle broke down. Despite the setback, Gregson remained determined to reach , switching cars to continue his journey.

In a video update, the 50 year old disclosed: "Car didn't make it, which is fortuitous because neither have I, I am full of man flu. I thought I could make it, I couldn't so I'm tucked up in a very nice hotel where I am going to sleep and hopefully be alright."

He expressed gratitude towards the British Motorist Museum for the loan of the car and hoped to participate again next year. He also thanked everyone who cheered on the participants, calling it an "amazing event."
