One manager stands out from the rest for Mats Hummels from his two spells with Borussia Dortmund.
The 35-year-old has enjoyed a highly successful career which is still going strong at Roma. He won the 2014 World Cup with Germany and has as many as 16 domestic trophies to his name.
After breaking through at , Hummels joined Dortmund and established himself for club and country. He re-joined Bayern in 2016, spending three years at the Allianz Arena before returning to their Bundesliga rivals.
Hummels enjoyed triumphs at both clubs, but his stints at Dortmund didn't come without their issues. Most recently he fell out with boss Edin Terzic before his departure in the summer.

The centre-back publicly criticised the tactics they were being made to adopt. Dortmund slipped to fifth in the table after taking a defensive approach to their final few games ahead of the final, which they lost to .
"I was furious because I was of the opinion that Borussia Dortmund shouldn't play like that - against any opponent in the ," Hummels told . "I didn't think it could go on like this.
"I felt insulted in my honour to stand on the pitch in that kit. So submissive, so inferior in footballing terms. The two Stuttgart games and the away game in Leverkusen. That was barricading with 11 men in the box."
Terzic wasn't the first manager he'd fallen out with - Hummels didn't see eye-to-eye with Tuchel, who called him out publicly following the DFB Pokal final in 2016. "Mats can do better," he argued having substituted him in the 78th minute.
Bayern beat them on penalties after a goalless draw, and Hummels would go on to join them that summer. But he still had respect for Tuchel - - despite their frosty relationship.
"If you look at the statistics, he was a good coach for sure," he later admitted. "Everything else has to be decided by others. Under Thomas Tuchel, a different person from what I had known with Klopp, with a different approach, it also worked very well."
Neither Terzic nor Tuchel compared to for Hummels, though. He spent six years working under the future boss, who left a long-lasting impression on him.
"Under Klopp it was amazing, very successful and emotional, but also very nice in other ways," he said. "He had different ideas on how to play the game, there was a lot I experienced off the pitch.
"It was very interesting and I'm glad I got to work with him during this time. I know how strong Klopp’s teams are. They work so hard, they play so intense and aggressively with the quality of players they have — especially up front."
