'I met Taylor Swift and her mum — Andrea told me I look just like her daughter'

Taylor Swift loves getting to know her fans, but one Swiftie might have the best meet-and-greet story of all time.

Responding to a Reddit post that quizzed fans about what it's like to meet the singer, the fan shared an incredible story.

In her post as TSTrack5Stan, the Swiftie explained that she met the superstar in the early days of her career. She claimed: "Before I met her Andrea came up to me in line (back then we didn’t know Andrea) and said 'omg you look just like my daughter!' I didn’t know her daughter was Taylor. Then I got to Taylor and handed Andrea my digital camera she goes 'I told you - you look like my daughter!'"

What followed was a super sweet exchange between the young women, who snapped a photo together. "She and Andrea were so nice! She gave me the biggest hug and told me I wouldn’t believe the stage when I saw it bc it was so big (she now is on the biggest stage there is, and I hope young Taylor is so happy everyday she goes on it)," wrote the fan, who kept the photo from the meeting.

As it turns out, Andrea hit the nail on the head. In the picture, the blonde fan looks like she could be one of Taylor's family members. "You guys could be cousins!" a commenter thought. Another suggested: "You guys do look alike," and someone said: "You can't tell where your hair ends and hers begins."

Elsewhere on the thread, fans shared their own meet-and-greet stories. "I've met her twice. A 1989 secret session and then again during the rep era. The first time she knew exactly who I was and told me things about me to my face.

"We talked about some personal stuff and she gave me some great advice. It was like hanging out with your best friend. Easily one of the best nights of my life," a Swiftie claimed.

Another praised: "I met her in 2011 at the Speak Now tour when I was in high school. I was so star-struck I froze up and didn't say much but she was super welcoming and complimented my eyes.

"I think I told her I loved her so much and she said she loved me too, then we took a photo. I mostly remember her being so pretty and seeming genuinely kind to everyone who was there to meet her."

One fan said Taylor had the perfect response when they met her. They added: "When I met her she was sparkling. Sounds cheesy. But seriously she’s somehow even more beautiful in person.

"She smelled amazing, she gave me a total of four hugs because I was so star stuck I could barely say a word to her and I think she knew it lol the last hug she gave me she went, 'tsk awwwww' cuz I couldn’t move."
