With the cost of energy remaining high, millions of households are searching for ways to keep warm without putting the central heating on. One way to conserve your energy use can be to only heat the room you’re in, rather than the whole house.

And Dunelm shoppers have been singing the praises of a that “heats the room so quickly”. comes in either black or white and has a cosy flame effect.

The realistic-looking heater has a thermostatic temperature control and safety cut-off device, to aid with unsafe situations. The energy saving heater is capable of warming up an area of 20-30m2.

Shoppers have been broadly very complimentary to date, with One said: “Perfect, heats the room so quickly and looks good. Would definitely recommend.”

Another added: “This is a fabulous modern Scandi-chic designed A-rated heater which goes well in our newly designed and decorated room.” A third went on: “Absolutely love this heater, looks really good makes you feel all cosy without the heating on.”

However, a small number of buyers weren’t totally thrilled, including one who said: “It looks lovely and provides a nice ambience but it’s just a noisy fan heater. Really disappointed with it. I decided to keep it as I don’t have time to pack and return it but only use it for the ambience, not for the heating element, as it’s just an annoying fan heater noise.”

Another had a similar complaint: “Very disappointed with how loud the fan in this heater is. The fan, even on quiet setting, is too loud to comfortably hear the television or have a conversation.”
