Content creator KSI has confirmed that he will be joining the judge panel on Britain's Got Talent (BGT).

It was reported on Tuesday that the YouTuber, 31 - whose real name is Olajide Olatunji - will be guest judge on the next series of the ITV show. KSI later appeared to confirm the news in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Sharing an article which speculated about his involvement, he wrote in a tweet: "This is gonna be jokes." KSI - who's a founding member of the group the Sidemen - accompanied the comment with a series of laughing emojis.

It was previously reported by the Sun that KSI will cover for judge Bruno Tonioli, 68, whilst he's away working on Dancing with the Stars in the US. The outlet states that he will take over for Bruno on three out of the five days that BGT has its first round of auditions in Blackpool later this month.

A source told the outlet: "Their new judge doesn't just know a thing or two about entertaining, he has a colossal following who are largely young and tech savvy, which is just the sort of viewer that the show now thrives on."

It was further teased by the source: "BGT isn't just a TV show it's a global internet phenomenon as well, with clips of the various acts being watched a staggering 24 billion times around the world. Which is why KSI is the perfect match, as his music alone has been streamed 2.7 billion times."

Alongside his career as a content creator, KSI has also ventured into the world of boxing and music in recent years. He's also behind the viral Prime drinks with fellow internet personality Logan Paul and has been the subject of documentaries.
