Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has addressed transfer interest in his key players ahead of a huge summer window for the Cherries with a number of key stars linked with a move away from the Vitality Stadium, including target .
The 20-year-old central defender is expected to be at the centre of a transfer tussle this summer, with a £50 million release clause available to be triggered. Chelsea, and Real Madrid have all been linked with the Spain international over the course of the season, and speculation has only intensified as the campaign enters its final weeks.
Huijsen only joined Bournemouth from Serie A side Juventus last year, but he has been a regular in Iraola’s starting lineup since early December. His impressive form for the Cherries earned him a maiden senior call-up to the Spain national team, as well as his debut in March.

He is not the only Bournemouth player attracting attention. Left-back Milos Kerkez and forward Antoine Semenyo are also being tipped for summer moves as the transfer window approaches.
Iraola himself has not been immune to speculation either, with growing links to amid uncertainty over ’s future.
Speaking to , Iraola addressed the transfer interest, admitting that clubs outside the traditional top six must learn to adapt to such situations. His comments suggest that potential departures, including one for Huijsen, cannot be ruled out.
“I don’t think it’s any different from previous years, especially when the team has done a good job,” the Spaniard said. “It happened to us last season.
"We didn’t know what was going to happen with some players. We lost Lloyd Kelly and after that Dom Solanke.
“We don’t really know what is going to happen in the summer, we are still focused on other things, but right now all the players are ours and, if nothing happens, they will continue to be ours next season also. So I don’t think it’s going to be different from other summers.
“We will focus on trying to improve the team, and add new players if we can, and if some player leaves because someone comes with what the club considers to be a good offer, we have to be ready for those situations, but not with fear.
“It is something that all the clubs, especially the ones who are not at the highest level like the top, top teams, have to get used to.”
