Alexandra Daddario announces birth of first child with husband Andrew Form

US star had fans in stitches as she announced the of her child with a cheeky giggle, mistaking the baby's hospital bed for a " bowl of candy".

The American star, 38, got engaged to film producer Andrew Form in 2021 and married in June 2022. And while there is a 17 year age gap, their chemistry was seemingly instant as they first met while out and about in New York during the Covid pandemic.

Earlier this year, during an interview with British Vogue, Daddario revealed her with hubby Andrew Form, who is 52. The announcement was accompanied with a number of pictures of Alexandra showing off her growing baby bump.

The known for Percy Jackson and White Lotus fame took to on Halloween to share a cute photo of the newborn wrapped up next to chocolate wrappers. Alongside her post, which has had over 350,000 likes, the playful mum wrote: "I thought this was a weird bowl of candy."

Her fans rushed to the comments section to share their support, one wrote: "This is the most epic birth announcement," another wrote: "What a cool birthday to have."

Celebrity friends also commented on her post, Lily Collins of Emily In Paris shared her joy, commenting: "Omg congrats!" While the official imdb account wrote: "welcome to the baby!!!"

She rose to fame starring as Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series and has featured in a number of films and shows. Her role in the first series of hit drama The White Lotus earned her Emmy nominations for outstanding supporting actress in a limited or anthology Series or movie.
